Universidade Rovuma (UROV)
Rovuma University (UniRovuma) is a public higher education institution created in 2019 with its headquarters located in Nampula city in the North of Mozambique. With an academic body of 485 professors, it currently offers both presence and distance-learning, multi-modal teaching and other learning opportunities for about 14500 students. UniRovuma has a current educational offer of 10 MSc degrees and 39 BSc degrees.
The Rovuma University strives to achieve excellence at national and international level, to train professional staff capable of contributing to sustainable economic and sociocultural advance, and fully contribute to community development.
It is currently adopting a technical, mainly geared towards engineering, and practical profile, with an impact on communities, which should help to solve the problems that constrain the creation of employment and self-employment and which will promote faster and more sustainable development of Mozambique, through practical and meaningful education.
A Universidade Rovuma (UniRovuma) é uma instituição pública de ensino superior criada em 2019, com a sua sede localizada na cidade de Nampula, no Norte de Moçambique. Com um corpo académico de 485 docentes, oferece atualmente oportunidades de ensino presencial e à distância, ensino multimodal e outras formas de oportunidades de aprendizagem para cerca de 14500 estudantes. A UniRovuma está actualmente a oferecer 10 cursos de mestrado e 39 de licenciatura.
A Universidade Rovuma pretende alcançar a excelência a nível nacional e internacional, com o propósito de formar profissionais capazes de contribuir para um progresso económico e sociocultural sustentável e contribuir para o desenvolvimento das comunidades.
UniRovuma está actualmente a adoptar em um perfil técnico, preponderantemente virado para as engenharias, e prático, com impacto nas comunidades, que ajude a resolver os problemas que constrangem a criação do emprego e do autoemprego e que promova um desenvolvimento mais acelerado e sustentável de Moçambique, através de uma educação prática e significativa.
