Food Insecurity Classification in Rural Areas of Mozambique: Scientific publication

The most recent FEMOZ article has been published recently on the international peer reviewed journal Ecology of Food and Nutrition.

The objective of this study was to compare how known indicators of food access classify households regarding food insecurity in rural Mozambique in a two-fold perspective: (1) when taken individually; (2) when integrated in the FEWSNET Matrix Analysis framework. The results of the analysis are expected to spark a discussion in Mozambique regarding the possibilities of complementing the country’s tools and procedures in food insecurity classifications.
