FEMOZ First Living Lab Session

The first meeting for Living Lab (LL) took place on June 16, 2021. Participating were, besides the core FEMOZ partners, SETSAN, INGD, IFAD, ROSA, ORAM, ABIODES, FNDS, and UNAC.

After a welcome session, the FEMOZ stakeholders were introduced to the LL concept and the MS Teams platform, which was set up for supporting co-research in the LL.

The INE (National Institute of Statistics - Mozambique) presented the sampling methodology for the FEMOZ production and dietary diversity survey in the afternoon, which was jointly developed with the ITT and UEM. After the sampling methodology was introduced, the UEM and ITT presented the relevant research questions guiding the production and dietary diversity survey.

After these introductory presentations, the joint work started with the engagement of several partners and stakeholders in revising the research questions and discussing the current draft of the questionnaire. It was a great atmosphere and a rewarding experience to see how effective and fruitful joint work in the FEMOZ LL can be.

Next week on June 23, 2021. The FEMOZ Living Lab will gather again to discuss the component of the market and value chain analysis.
